Q: Who is Chuck Young?

Charles “Chuck” E. Young served as UCLA’s chancellor from 1968 to 1997.
Q: What is a provost?

A provost is a high-ranking administrative officer in a college or university who deals in areas such as curriculum and faculty appointments. Brian Copenhaver currently holds the position at the College of Letters & Science, while Dr. Gerald Levey serves as Provost and Dean of UCLA’s School of Medicine.
Q: Who is Michael Dukakis?

Former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis was the Democratic candidate who ran unsuccessfully against George Bush in the 1988 presidential race and is currently a visiting professor at UCLA.
