A science fiction strategy game released in 1998, “StarCraft” is set in the future on the Terran planet, which two evil alien races, Zerg and Protoss, attack. The game helped give rise to professional gaming. “StarCraft II” was released on July 27.

Gaming Up A Storm

The first major hit Blizzard Entertainment created, “Warcraft” is a real-time strategy game set in the world of Azeroth. Since the release of “Warcraft” in 1994, Blizzard has produced “Warcraft II,” “Warcraft III” and“World of Warcraft.” The games pushed the limits of multiplayer RTS games.
