Memorial for Black Panthers touches hearts of attendees

About 50 students and community members braved a Southern California drizzle to attend the third annual memorial service for Alprentice “Bunchy” Carter and John Huggins last Friday night. Carter and Huggins, former UCLA students and Black Panther Party members, were shot in Campbell Hall at UCLA on Jan. 17, 1969.
