May 7, 2012 – To dye or to not dye? That is the question. Artist, curator, and educator Kathy Brew chats on the phone with Christyana Cabal about going from occasionally dying her hair to finally embracing her gray, curly locks. They discuss Brew’s project “Going Gray,” which explores today’s cultural attitudes towards aging and the ideas of maintaining youth. Her exhibit will open on Thursday at the Art | Sci Gallery from 5-7 p.m. as part of the “Art of Aging” symposium.
