Platforms
-Advocate for practical academics by furthering capstone experiences and career-oriented courses where students can develop skills beyond UCLA’s theory-based classes; additionally, working to expand internship credit to all students – not just juniors and seniors
-Increase professor-student interaction by creating a “Last Lecture Series” where faculty have the opportunity to share their interests with students beyond course curriculum and impart their wisdom. AAC will also host “Student-Faculty Roundtable Dinners” to promote thoughtful dialogue and interactive discussions between students and faculty
-Work to include official course evaluations and grade distributions on Bruinwalk.com
Institutionalize and continue expanding the South Campus Activities Fair
-Broaden AAC’s current programs such as “Dinners with Grad Students”, the Controversial Film Series, and Career Programming to include more students
