Dr. Juan Alejos (center), a pediatric cardiologist from UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, and 40 volunteers are planning a humanitarian aid effort to Peru. The medical staff will be performing heart surgeries, dental work and hundreds of clinical evaluations and other medical procedures.
