Professor Lynn Dally, recognized as one of the most influential women in tap dance, instructs her intermediate tap class, offered through the world arts and cultures department. In addition to teaching classes about the history and physical and technical aspects of tap, Dally is artistic director of the Jazz Tap Ensemble, which she co-founded. UCLA will host a “Women in Tap” conference on Feb. 8.
