Joseph Israel performs in 2007’s JazzReggae Festival, the annual event sponsored by USAC’s Cultural Affairs Commission. To bolster dropping attendance rates for the first day, festival organizers decided last year to change its name from Jazz Day to Jam Day; this year, Jam Day will feature Grammy Award-winners The Roots.
