Despite winning five in a row, nine of their last 10 and finding themselves perched atop the Big Ten standings, the Bruins remain unranked by D1Baseball, Baseball America and the USA Today Sports baseball coaches poll.
The Bruins had secured the match with three singles matches left to play. But, Hoosier coach Jeremy Wurtzman wanted to see the affair through.

The Bruins rallied behind Kimmi Hance on Tuesday as the senior secured the team’s season-opening sweep.
And heading into the weekend, the team united around a new goal – a trip to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
Unprecedented circumstances did not deter the Bruins from winning their season opener.
“We came out, we got the job done, battled through adversity,” said junior Aadarsh Tripathi.
