Despite the upcoming election, UCLA undergraduate students are largely uninvolved in politics, according to a Daily Bruin/UCLA Department of Statistics survey conducted between Sept. 24 and Oct. 9.
Undocumented lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students applying to stay in the United States as part of deferred action may be able to get financial assistance through a new scholarship being offered by a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization.
A one-year curriculum of low-cost online college courses, geared toward undocumented students, will be available in 2013 as part of an institution called the National Dream University, established in part by the UCLA Center for Labor Research and Education.
