The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has made at least 39 arrests for crimes related to the January fires in Southern California.
The LA County fires burned over 47,000 acres, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection website.
The Los Angeles City Council proposed new legislative policy Feb. 4 that would strengthen labor and immigration protections.
